Do subscribed mods download to multiple devices steam

After an hour of playing Skyrim without it, waiting for Skyrim to sync and the works, it never started downloading. Eventually, I had to unsubscribe on the workshop and download it via the Skyrim Nexus. I don't want to do this, because I like how easy the Workshop is, especially since I have multiple computers that I play Skyrim on.

Can I force-sync Workshop mods? Note: The Skyrim launcher didn't work for syncing mods. As a matter of fact, it said I was "All up to date!

Here is a possible workaround, according to a reddit thread :. The downloads should start. I had the same problem. My skyrim data files didn't show any mods except dlcs. First of all I unsubscribed all mods than downloaded dawnguard dlc. Than I restarted my steam. I subscribed my mods. And here we go. My mods are in there data files. Thanks Ealhad. OK, seems it's Skyrim Workshop mods you're subscribing to since it's the only game you have. Once you click subscribe you click the play button for Skyrim in your library. That will start the mod[s] downloading.

You can monitor the download progress in the top right corner of the Skyrim launch window. Once the mod has downloaded[may take a few minutes], it will syncronize. Then just hit play in the launcher and the game will start with your mod installed.

To verify the mod is activated, on the games main menu click Data Files and make sure there is a check mark in the box next to the mods name. Thats it? All you have to do is play the game while it DL's?

When I hit the play button the menu appears, nothing happens. Check mark, I'll go see. Yes, theres check maks beside the mods.
